Recognising the site of the Marlborough Wine Festival, all Festival Block wines honour this annual celebration of local food and wine and showcase varietals from around New Zealand. The Montana Festival Block Pinot Noir is scented and moderately concentrated, with mouthfilling body, cherry, plum and herb flavours, showing a touch of complexity, and a smooth finish.

This complex and full bodied wine shows aromas of ripe melon, candied citrus, quince and toffee. The palate has superb depth and length of flavour. Rich mouth-filling fruit is supported by subtle toasty French oak.

This traditional blend has distinctive varietal characters of plums, blackberries, coffee and dark chocolate with hints of violet flower. It is a mouth-filling wine of great length with textured soft tannins.

The Truant is a full flavoured McLaren Vale Shiraz, with notes of plum and blackberries, complimented by hints of vanilla and cinnamon spice.

Floral notes alongside white fleshed peach, pear and all spice characters. The palate displays these same characters in abundance focusing on ripe succulent peach notes, while the mid palate is full, creamy and well textured. The wine has a rich, spice infused finish.

Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.
