As pioneers in a frontier penal colony, they forged a new country and new lives, brick by brick. This wine celebrates the rules they broke and the culture they built.

This Marlborough Chardonnay shows wonderful complexity, fresh aromas & flavours of citrus, stonefruit and hints of hazelnuts with a long, focused finish.

An opulent, oaky, buttery and toasty styled Chardonnay created with 100% oak barrel fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation and oak aged in a mix of French and American oak.

Specially selected from two estate-owned Hawke's Bay vineyards, this unoaked Chardonnay offers a creamy palate with melon and peach flavours, without the intrusion of oak. It has a clean, dry finish.

Aromas of lemon curd and stone fruits with apple and cashew. A rich and driving entry with lemon and peach on display early joined by notes of sweet pastry, white stone fruits and grapefruit. Bright focus, lovely poise and very lingering finish.

Babydoll's BABYDOLL sheep live beneath the vines, nibbling on grass and weeds and giving their name to these delicious wines. Small but mighty, they're wonderful groundskeepers. Yes, they need a little help to keep the mowing going. But it's all for the good of the grapes.

Bay and Barnes leaned on our cousins across the ditch for the grapes to make this classic Australian Chardonnay. Following harvest, fruit was gently pressed before settling. Specially selected yeasts were used to start fermentation. From there the wine was delicately matured on oak and lees stirred to impart lovely toasty flavours and a creamy texture.

Church Road Chardonnay boasts of ripe stone fruits, balanced with subtle acid. Hints of oak gives this bold number toasty buttered popcorn and soft caramel aroma while equally expressing ripe fruits nectarine and persimmon. A balanced wine for those new to Chardonnay and those with experience!

A fuller bodied and and creamy textured Chardonnay balanced by gentle, fresh acidity. Ripe stonefruit, fresh citrus and subtle floral notes are overlaid with complexities of roasted nuts, fresh baked bread, and a flinty minerality. Already drinking exceptionally well, with careful cellaring we expect this wine to continue to mature gracefully for 5 years or more from vintage date. Ideally matched to seafood, poultry and lighter game dishes, particularly with an element of creaminess

Aromas of fresh golden peach and vanilla, whipped cream, hazel nut and fine toasty wood scents. Youthful, familiar and inviting. A raw silk texture touches the palate first accentuated by acidity and oak then a wave of fresh fruit arrives for contrast and balance. Weighty, fresh, nutty, fruity and youthful.
