Camshorn, originally a Suffolk sheep farm, is surrounded by the Waipara regions Teviotdale hills. The unique suntrap climate with cool autumn nights is key to creating rich, aromatic and elegant wines. A small yet diverse region, Waipara consistency delivers excellent wines and Camshorn is no exception, showcasing stunning wines that exemplify the regions terroir. This Pinot Noir has dark fruit and smoky aromas leading to a medium-bodied palate of black cherry compote, and ripe plum joined by savoury spices and vanilla.

Shiny cherry red colour. On the nose, beautiful ripe red fruit notes stand out (cherry, plum) on a smoky background with liquorice hints. On the palate, it is easy-drinking, with smooth tannins and very fruity. Long and elegant aftertaste.

With an intense red colour and violet shines, the Molino Loco Tinto shows appealing expressive notes of fresh red fruit (blackberry, plum). On the palate, it is soft and easy-drinking fruit-forward, pleasantly fresh and well-balanced.

A medium intensity wine with complex aromas of spice and ripe fruit scents. Smooth and full and full on the palate with good tannins.

Rich, dark berry fruit and earthy complexity with lifted notes of sandalwood, cedar, violets, florals thyme and a hint of vanilla. A dense, weighty wine kept in check by firm tannin and gentle acidity with dives exceptional length across the palate. While approachable now, this wine will age positively for 15 plus years if cellared well.

A robust and characterful red with generous, juicy, dark berry fruit, lifted violet floral notes and exotic spice typical of this block. The palate is full bodied with good mid palate richness, and chunky, ripe tannins with a slight rustic edge.

A refined Hawke's Bay red crafted from premium vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels and Bridge Pa Triangle. The free-draining alluvial soils of Gimblett Gravels yield intensely concentrated fruit with firm tannin structure, while the iron-rich red metals of Redstone Vineyard contribute supple texture and aromatic lift. The result is a balanced, complex wine led by dark berry and plum flavours, layered with notes of lavender, rosewood, cedar, and hints of cacao and vanilla. A savoury, earthy depth adds intrigue, while the medium-full palate offers generous mid-palate flesh and a long, finely structured finish, promising excellent cellaring potential.

Church Road Grand Reserve wines are produced only in exceptional vintages. The very best low-cropping vineyard blocks are targeted for selective hand-harvesting to yield wines with the greatest possible flavour, depth and concentration. An age-worthy blend of great depth and restrained power. Merlot brings a ripe fleshy core to the palate along with layers of dark plum flavours, earthy complexity and lifted violet notes. Cabernet Sauvignon delivers length and structure with fragrant aromatic of cassis and berry fruit with hints of dried thyme, lavender and sandalwood, while barrel maturation in French oak has overlaid complimentary notes of cedar, vanilla, spice and dark chocolate.

Church Road Grand Reserve Syrah has a core of dark plum and berry fruit is overlaid with classic Hawkes Bay Syrah perfume of violets, exotic warm spice and cracked black pepper, supported by subtle oak toast. On the palate the wine is full bodied but fine textured with a gentle tannin structure. A balanced acidity brings length and freshness to the palate and a sense of subtle, lithe power without excessive heaviness. Enjoy this wine paired with savoury game and red meat dishes.

This full-bodied wine is packed with layers of rich berry fruit, cassis and dark cacao notes, along with lifted cedar and thyme aromas. While impressive now, the powerful yet fine-grained tannin structure ensures great longevity. This wine is unfined and unfiltered to preserve quality. Some precipitate may form with time and decanting is recommended.
