Found in 1897, Church Road combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern thinking and innovation to craft premium, complex wines. This creamy textured Hawke's Bay Chardonnay is unashamedly just a little bit old school. Ripe peach, tropical fruit and fragrant citrus notes are enhanced by toasty oak, wild fermentation, full malolactic and regular yeast lees string. This approach delivers layers of flavour reminiscent of toasted brioche, roasted hazelnut and sizzle butter.

A refined Hawke's Bay red crafted from premium vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels and Bridge Pa Triangle. The free-draining alluvial soils of Gimblett Gravels yield intensely concentrated fruit with firm tannin structure, while the iron-rich red metals of Redstone Vineyard contribute supple texture and aromatic lift. The result is a balanced, complex wine led by dark berry and plum flavours, layered with notes of lavender, rosewood, cedar, and hints of cacao and vanilla. A savoury, earthy depth adds intrigue, while the medium-full palate offers generous mid-palate flesh and a long, finely structured finish, promising excellent cellaring potential.

A fuller bodied Chardonnay balanced by gentle, fresh acidity and a spine of slate like minerality. The very best low-cropping vineyard blocks are targeted for selective hand-harvesting to yield wines with the greatest possible flavour, depth and concentration. The Grand Reserve Pinot Noir is wild fermented with a proportion of whole bunches. Dark cherry and sweet berry fruit is lifted by alluring floral and spice notes, complimented by underlying earthy complexity and subtle French oak.
