Right in the heart of the magical Waihopai Valley, a million miles from anywhere, lies The Ned, one of Marlborough's most famous peaks. The Ned Rosé - A wonderfully scented and pure fruited aroma that melds elements of red berry compote and watermelon with subtle woody notes of sun-warmed raspberry canes. A sensitively handled blend of two Pinot varieties; one where the Noir delivers a long, saturated core of pure berry fruit flavour with crisp acid edges and a lightly drying tannin tail whilst the Gris provides the perfect juxtaposition - a subtle richness that lends fruit sweetness, flesh and palate texture.

The Pelorus is crisp and balanced. The pale straw colour and aromas of ripe citrus hint at its Chardonnay origins. On the nose, a bouquet of apple and lemon complements the aromas of fresh bread, drawn from two years' bottle ageing on lees.
